CAFE VIRAGO BUILD - Aluminum Tailpiece
With a little break and shear work at my friends shop over at Marquis Restorations, I got the seat pan made up and tig welded it to the bumstop. Filing and sanding and a few mounts are next. The tail piece is fifty percent of what makes a cafe bike look cool. This build deserves a slab of neoprene race foam on the pan, and that's on order. Now that the pan is set up, I can configure the rear sets.

I dig the Virago 750 cafe look and lovin your build posts - have you done anymore work on this build?
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, I started out looking for a CM400, but quickly realized it doesn't lend itself to the cafe look. I saw some sweet pics of a few Virago 750 cafes and started to research. That's when I found your blog.
So I'm super interested in seeing the next steps in your Virago build!
